Mean Nurses

Today Karah got her first round of immunization shots. There were two nurses that came in and held my baby down and stuck a needle in each of her legs. And if that weren't enough, they did it again while she screamed. I have never felt so awful or useless in all my life, all I could do was stand there while my baby girl screamed. She only cried though for about 10 minutes and fell asleep. I think that this was more traumatic for Joe & I than her. Mean nurses.

The check-up went well before the mean nurses came in. She is now 11 lbs. 7 ounces and 23 1/2 inches long, she is actually in the top percentage for her age. The doctor said that she will probably be tall. The doctor said she was looking great and was developing her motor skills on schedule.

I can't believe that my baby is growing so fast, I found a left over newborn diaper and almost wept because I knew that she would never be that little again. It seems like just yesterday we were in the hospital and now she is two months old. Where has the time gone?
